Position: Admin Assistant
Location: Mossley, OL5 9AY
Hours: Full-time, 9am to 5pm
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

Vertical Access Ltd is a specialist provider of rope access and work-at-height solutions, delivering technical services across a wide range of sites throughout the UK. We're looking for a reliable and organised Admin Assistant to support the smooth running of our operations.
The Role
You’ll play a key part in supporting our operations and compliance processes. From coordinating training and maintaining registers to assisting with logistics and general admin, this is a varied role that requires attention to detail and a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance & Training Support: Monitor expiry dates for staff qualifications and medicals. Liaise with staff to collect required documentation and update internal registers.
- Planning & Coordination: Book training, accommodation, and hire vehicles. Maintain internal planning documents and assist with schedule updates.
- Procurement & Supplies: Source materials and equipment, place orders as needed, and manage office supplies.
- Internal Communication: Distribute memos and safety bulletins to site staff and track responses.
- General Admin: Support with client documentation, maintain registers, and assist with other day-to-day office tasks.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar admin role
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); some use of Google Sheets/Docs
- Proactive and able to respond flexibly to changing priorities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
