Soil Nailing, Rock Drilling, Ground Anchors and Rock Bolts

 

Vertical Access Ltd have extensive experience in geotechnical work such as soil nailing and ground anchoring. Especially when used for slope stabilisation of cuttings and embankments on the railways.

 

We are capable of carrying out design and build contracts for slope, cliff and retaining wall stabilisation with all permanent anchors being installed to the standards prescribed in BS EN 1537.

 

Utilising the most up to date techniques and materials has enabled us to become a specialised contractor within this area.

 

 

Rock Bolts, Soil Nails and Ground Anchors we are approved installers of:

• Weldgrip composite self drilling soil nails, self drilling steel anchor system

• Maccaferri Rock Fall Protection Netting and Mac Mat R Erosion Control Netting

 

We own a number of Marini MCDP masts that can be attached to Dacs System Sledges, Telehandlers, Road Rail Machines or Excavators.

 

‘Down the Hole’ hammer drills can be used on the masts as well as MA90 and MA100 rock drills, therefore allowing anchors up to 140mm dia. and 15m deep to be drilled.

 

Should larger ground anchors be required, these can be achieved through utilising the larger rock drill rigs available to use through our Equipment Hire Partners.

 

With versatile plant that has been developed in house, Vertical Access Ltd are able to work in any ground stabilisation environment and are able to fulfil all client requirements, whether in conventional or difficult access sites.
