Vertical Access provide Refresher Courses for those IRATA technicians who are in
need of renewing their certification.
A refresher course is needed if no rope work has been done for 6 months or more and
also if the ticket is about to expire. (Please note if a ticket has expired a full
5 day course will need to be completed). To ensure technicians are up to date with
certification, re-assessment may be done up to 6 months before expiry date without
time penalty.
The refresher course lasts a minimum of 3 days depending on the individuals rope
access experience.
Our trainers are chosen for their on site experience as well their ability to teach
therefore you will benefit directly from their experience. All Vertical Access courses
are designed with a practical bias to train you to be able to work safely and efficiently
within the rope access industry.
If used with other qualifications, such as trade certificates, then the potential
for work will be enhanced, giving operatives the opportunity to prove themselves
in this challenging industry.
The training venue utilises structural steelwork up to 15 metres high which resembles
many industrial locations to ensure that training prepares you for the work that
you will encounter. The venue is indoor and so is not weather dependent with the
following facilities on site:
